Dressing this morning with Emma
Emma: I have to wear this shirt. Only this shirt not the skirt or the sweater I picked out.
Me: I’m sorry, but you have to wear pants.
Emma: Nooooooooooooo! {pause} Of course I am going to wear pants!
Me: I know, wear that cute camo skirt.
Emma: I thought you said I had to wear pants?
Me: Ugh, no I meant you had to wear bottoms of some kind.
Emma: But what about my legs? {taps on her legs like I have never seen them before}
Me: How about leggings under the skirt? Here, wear these brown ones.
Emma: How about these pink ones I already have on. They match perfectly.
Me: Emma, you wore those yesterday AND you slept in them. (see picture below) AND the picture is on the internet!!!
Emma: Ok, how about I wear those leggings with a different shirt and a different skirt….
Me: I thought you said you haaaaaad to wear that shirt!!!!!
Emma: What? I’m not allowed to change my mind? You said brown leggings?
Me: Sheesh.
