Tori is home! We missed you kid.
Tori spent an exceptionally long weekend with Katie and it felt like she was gone forever! I snapped a few photos to commemorate the event.
Emma and I made some sugar cookies to help drive away the descendingly dreary gray day that has parked itself on top of the city.
In the photo of the cookies are my beautiful roses. I picked them up at the grocery store to brighten the dinner table when Nick and I had Manny and Michael over for dinner. I have never had roses that bloomed so perfectly in my life. I kinda hate red roses, but orange, pink and yellow ones all together are so disgustingly sweet and girly that I can’t help but grin when I walk past them and give them a totally cliched sniff….. my family, warm cookies, fresh flowers and a Yahtzee battle after dinner….life is pretty great.
