The chocolate told me to
So…. I love Dove Chocolate. A lot. I keep a bag in my purse for when I want a piece….wherever I am on the planet. Usually two. (It is hard to only eat one.) So they have these little sayings inside the wrappers ….”promises” they call them. Today after I finished my soup (yes…my soup at hand- and yes creamy tomato) and my peaches, I had a piece. The back of the metallic blue wrapper said,
“You’re allowed to do nothing.”
Yes oh Gods of Chocolate! Command me! I am like, “Sweet!…I didn’t feel like doing anything….how did they KNOW?” As a matter of fact, I can’t seem to wake up today. I think I was awake all night with the thunderstorms and then Emma came into my bed and likes to sleep next to me…like GLUED to me. It was so excruciatingly fun. Anyway- So then I had another piece…(see above about the not being able to eat just one.) And that wrapper said,
“Do what feels right.”
Seriously. I know what you are thinking…I have POWERS. I was just thinking the same exact thing! The chocolate gods are in my pocket…I like own them. Maybe…. just maybe I can use my powers for good and help people…..
So now, I am awaiting the third and final bit of wisdom…here it comes…
“Watch reruns, they replay your memories.”
….now that’s just stupid. See….I got punished b/c I should have only eaten two.
