Red Dances
This weekend was my first full length concert with City In Motion at the Gem Theater…. and it was incredible. I had so much fun on stage dancing with all my wonderfully talented friends- Andrea, Manny, Kat, Stephanie, Joanna, and Penny. The concert seemed to have flown by and I have only heard wonderful things about the show. The audience was a warm and hearty sized crowd who were so lovely to perform for. I was so lucky to have had so many friends and family there to support me- So thank you from the top of my head to the tips of my toes to Nick, Tori, Emma, Ali, Julia, Brooke, Sherry, Wendel, Candace, Monica, Cameo, and the all friends you brought with you! I am so very lucky to get to do this.
Hopefully I will have some pictures soon…. the tech didn’t quite go as planned (does it ever?) so sadly Nick did not get to take photos at the dress rehearsal… I know, it’s kinda tragic- Hopefully there will be some good ones from Mike Strong (kcdance.com). Here are a few I took of us backstage and onstage during tech rehearsal…they are not the best and I have a few more I will put on flickr. Thank you to everyone who came to the show, it was an unforgettable experience.
